Hosting Features
Free Domain Name
A free .co.za domain name comes with all hosting accounts. This will be in the form of www.yoursite.co.za – On the ‘Extreme Hosting’ Package you have the option of any other domain, ie: .com, .net, .us or any other Top Level Domain (TLC) you choose.
Disk Space
Disk Space related to how much storage space you have for your website and all its content. This will include images and other media such as video. Most websites will easily use less than 1 GB (Gigabyte). More space may be needed for large sites such as those that sell high-resolution images. More disk space can be purchased as needed at a rate on R50 per gigabyte, per month.
Monthly Traffic
Each time someone visits your site it will download data to their machine or device. This can be your text, images, other media, etc. Usually it is not much per person or visit but it adds up. 10GB is ample for average sites. If you have a busy website like popular discussion forum website, then you may need more of a traffic allowance. Extra traffic space can be purchased at a rate of R10 per gigabyte, per month.
Email Accounts
You can choose as many email accounts as you like, eg: johnsmith@yoursite.co.za, info@yoursite.co.za or sales@yoursite.co.za, etc. Your account also comes with Email Forwarders, Auto-responders and more.
