General:

• Before your hosting account is started, we will do necessary background and credit checks for security reasons.
• You are required to initially pay 6 months hosting up-front before we setup your hosting account and register your domain name.
• Thereafter you can choose to pay in cycles or 6, 12 or 24 months upfront, upon invoice. Invoices are sent 1-2 week before payment is due.
• If you prefer to pay monthly you will need to setup a stop-order with your bank, or go on a monthly debit order (securely processed by Netcash). With the monthly option the will be no invoicing, but statements will be available upon request.
• To discontinue using our service, we require 30 days notice.
• There is no contract and we hold the right to terminate services with any person, business or entity if it is in the best of our interests.
• The customized website design and layout remains the intellectual property of 2xl Digital Solutions for a minimum of 24 months.  After 24 months the design and code will be made available should you wish to move away.
• The domain name will be available for transfer anytime after your initial payment, should you wish to transfer away.

Hosting:

• Your hosting contract includes the stipulated amount of megabytes disk space and unlimited bandwidth.
• Hosted on a dedicated, managed server on Afrihost’s backbone.
• To discontinue using our service, you must do so in writing or email within, 30 days.
• If you are on debit order, the debit order will run one more cycle after cancellation and then terminate.
• The servers are monitored 24 hours a day and experience 99% uptime. Support is 7 days a week.

Free Website:

• The free website does not include logo design. Logo must be supplied or one can be designed for a fee.
• All content must be supplied (text, images, required pages, etc).
• An overall design/theme will be created for you and adjusted to your liking, within reason.
• You may, if you wish, send links to websites that have designs you like.
• During the design process of your free website, you can optionally view live updates of your websites’ design.
• Initial SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) of the website code will be included, making your site Google-ready.
• Your site will be submitted to Google.
• The design will only commence after the initial 6 month hosting payment has been received by us.
• The design will only be completed in 3 to 5 days after, and on condition that, all assets are supplied (logo, branding, copy).

It is at the discretion of 2XL Digital Solutions to determine if your business is of such a size that it is not feasible for a limited page website. IE: You may have large volumes of products and data that require better management such as a database and more functionality.  

Free Domain Name:

• 2XL Digital Solutions will register and manage the domain name of your choice. This applies to .co.za domains only. If you prefer another domain extension (.com, .net, etc) this will be a separate cost, quoted upon request.

Maintenance Terms

• For the duration of the hosting contract, you will receive free website maintenance within reason, at our discretion. For example. free updates may be a phone number change or paragraph updates, a pricelist altered or a few images removed/added. Changes like this are free and require a turn-around time of up to 72 hours.
• If it is determined that the required change is beyond the scope of ‘a simple alteration’, then this will be discussed and quoted upon. IE: you may want to add a whole new product line with 100 images. Up to 10 image new additions would be considered free.

Email:

• You will receive email addresses of your choice (ie: sales@yourcomany.co.za, johndoe@yourcompany.co.za, etc)
• Email account disk usage counts toward your total allocated disk space. It is in your own best interest to monitor, download and archive email in case the email accounts are threatening to push the account over-quota. We will notify you when your account disk usage is nearing quota.
• Excessive bandwidth use and abuse.: although rare, you will be notified and your email account suspended if you are sending and receiving large amounts of videos/music or files that take up unnecessary bandwidth, or if we determine you are sending excessive bulk mail regularly.
